7 inch Display Panel Duet 2 WiFi

7 inch Display Panel Duet 2 WiFi

Having successfully printed one of the available designs for the 7 inch panel that shipped from Duet3D, I noticed the display must have changed at some point as my panel did not fit, prompting me to create this very simple version. Updates will be added as each part is finished; for now, only the bit that holds the panel has been uploaded. The back panel design is incomplete due to unresolved mounting arrangements and will be completed once I've rebuilt the printer with the Duet 2 Wifi controller. I used small pieces of foam under the M3 mounting screws, which are fixed without needing to tap them since they fit snugly in 4 mm deep holes, requiring about a 6mm screw length. The design was drawn incorrectly, so you'll need to orient it 180 degrees along either the X or Y axis for proper printing. Sorry about that mistake. On January 31st, I added cables and discovered the enclosure needs an extra 2mm depth; updates will be made accordingly, including a slot for the SD card. On February 11th, I updated the Panel mount to ensure it's a couple of mm deeper, avoiding contact with cables. The SD card slot remains to be added on the panel. A lid was also included, but no mounting options are available yet for attaching it to 20x20 aluminum extrusion; that feature will come next, along with an update for the SD card slot.
