7 inch display case (Tontec or Innolux) Smooth version
thingiverse
I remixed the case to fit my printer and made it smaller, easier to print, and requiring less material. My new design has no parts from the original version, so I added my logo to it. The buttons are now included, and the LED hole is bigger. There are only two files: Front and Back panel with screw holes that fit together perfectly. UPDATE3: I fixed some misplacement of holes, making sure they're in the right spot. Now there's only one version of the case, and it works great. The buttons board and driver board fit precisely into the back panel, which is now a separate piece from the side panel. This design makes the unit look sleeker and more compact. UPDATE2: I made version 4 of the UNIT (back panel), which fits perfectly with the buttons board and driver board. Now you don't need to use the side panel anymore, and the hdmi/vga connectors don't stick out as much from the unit. This new design is a major improvement over the original. UPDATE1: I fitted my case to an actual screen from GrabCAD, which has a 7-inch display. To make it fit perfectly, I had to adjust the bezels and size slightly. My version of the case is 100x165 mm in size. So if you bought a Chinese display with three boards from Aliexpress, I highly recommend buying it with a case already included. However, if you can't or don't want to waste a lot of filament, here's my poor man remix of the case. It's a 3-part thing that's easier to assemble and fit everything in.
