7-Day Pill / Capsule / Tablet Dispenser
thingiverse
I wanted to create a pill dispenser that's easy to use and refill, so I designed my own using Fusion 360. My requirements were that it should be secure enough to store a week's worth of medications, easy to read the day names without glasses, and visually appealing. I also wanted it to be simple to print without supports or non-printable parts. After trying different designs and variations, I finally created something I'm happy with and learned a lot about using Fusion 360. In May 2018, I uploaded an updated version of the pill dispenser body that's stackable. The floor is thicker, and there's a recess for the bolt to fit into. It seems to work well when printed with external fill set to rectilinear, but you might need to use supports. I also added a plain top without the pattern. For those interested in printing with transparent filament, I included a top with windows for each compartment. To get the best transparency results, it's recommended to minimize layers and lines by using a layer thickness of 0.32 and width of 0.5 when slicing. Set your external infill to concentric as well.
