7/8 inch push broom handle
thingiverse
This is a handle for hanging a broom, specifically designed for use with poles that have a diameter of 7/8 inches, which translates to either .875 inches or 22.225 millimeters. The design features a tight fit, carefully crafted to avoid the need for glue. This approach ensures a secure hold without compromising the structural integrity of the handle. For optimal compatibility, this handle is suitable for use with any pole that meets the specified diameter requirements: 7/8 inch or .875 inch or 22.225 millimeters. This project also served as an experiment in optimizing print times by using a larger nozzle. Initially, I attempted to use a .6mm layer height with an .8mm nozzle, but unfortunately, this resulted in subpar outcomes, as evident from the accompanying photos. However, after adjusting the layer height to .4mm, I achieved excellent results, and only incurred a 10-minute increase in print time. This adjustment proved to be a worthwhile compromise for improved print quality.
