7.62x39 Ammo Box 50 Rounds
thingiverse
This is the same code as my 100 round 223 Ammo Box. I have changed a few settings to fit 7.62x39 ammo. I changed 'holesy' to 5 from 10 (this makes the box 50 rounds). 'bullethole' changed to 11.7 from 10 (this makes the pockets big enough for the ammo). 'dividerheight' changed to 34 from 28 (this makes the dividers taller, so the ammo more stable if inserted tip down). 'hingepinrad' changed to 1.2 from 1.1 (this has nothing to do with 7.62x39. I changed it to give more clearance for the metal bike spoke). This design is easy to change for any style ammo. You could even set the 'dividerheight' to 0 if you want a basic box. To assemble print the two halves. Find a piece of metal or piece of filament. I used a bike spoke. Cut the hinge pin so that it is smaller then what fits (leaves room to seal off end). Insert the cut pin. Melt some PLA into the hole so that the pin can't escape. Cut the support from the clasp of the top.
