The Tokarev pistol cartridge is a replica of the 7.62 x 25 mm cartridge used in the Tokarev pistol. This cartridge is nearly identical to the older 7.63/.30 Mauser cartridge, which was used in the famous "broomhandle" C96 Mauser pistol from 1896. The dimensions were taken from the Lyman's Reloading Manual, 49th edition, and the design was built using FreeCAD software. A completed ABS "snap cap," an inert replica used to test-fire a gun without leaving the chamber empty, was tested in a Romanian TTC pistol. This digital copy of the design is 124 years old, making it entirely in the public domain.
