$7.50Pinup Girl Scratchplate for Fender Telecaster
myminifactory
I've been busy at work in my Etsy store, crafting 3D printed guitar accessories to elevate the style of musicians who demand only the best from their instrument. My focus has primarily been on creating pickup covers, trussrod covers, controls, and other components that can be printed as a single piece, but I've long wanted to design custom-made guitar scratchplates. That's when I teamed up with my friend Phil James, a seasoned guitar teacher, recording artist, session musician, and musical authority (@Philjamesguitar on Instagram, @Tweetpyg on Twitter), who suggested making the plates modular and concealing the seam under interlocking pieces; his idea proved to be a game-changer. I've created a scratchplate for a 50s Vintage-style Fender Telecaster with standard neck and bridge pickup configuration, bringing that retro flair and bomber nose-art vibe to life for gigging musicians. Assembling it can be a bit intricate, so I recommend using epoxy instead of superglue (you can use epoxy on parts not affecting the structural integrity but generally opt for epoxy on the rest). This is just the beginning of what will be a range of scratchplates, including Stratocaster plates soon, and I'm truly proud of this design. It's now available in my Etsy store - www.etsy.com/uk/shop/enterprisexddesign - and I'm more than happy to take custom orders for unique guitar accessories that reflect each musician's personality, because let's face it, guitarists are known for their flair and style.
