7.4V LiPo battery case for Lego with breadboard and space for regulators.
thingiverse
This project can be incorporated seamlessly into a Lego design, as the bottom section is specifically designed to be compatible with Lego bricks. To enhance its functionality, you can attach a breadboard to the top section, which features two lines of Lego pins that allow for easy extension and connection to other Lego components. In my case, I used these pins to securely mount a micro:bit connector from aliexpress, which is also compatible with Lego bricks. A high-capacity 7.4V 1100mAH battery, sourced from aliexpress, provides the necessary power for the project. To efficiently distribute power within the system, I installed two 12mm regulators inside - one delivers 3.3V to power the micro:bit, while the other supplies a stable 5V voltage for servo and motor applications. Using tinkercad would make it straightforward to design and attach custom clips or mounts for your own boards or regulators. Convenient access is provided through two holes - a 12mm opening allows for the easy installation of a push-button switch, while a smaller 3mm hole accommodates a power indicator LED.
