I constructed a bracket to support standard 8in x 1in US boards, or 7.25in x .75in as we conveniently omit precise labeling in the US. Three shelf brackets are holding up a 6ft piece of wood with filament attached. Designed for #6 screws that drive into anchors securely. Update 12/3/19: I've added a bracket without a lip and another bracket without a lip, plus screw holes to secure the bracket into the wood board.
