Luce, meaning Light in Italian, was inspired by my close friend Katherine M.L. Ozzy, who graciously allowed her features to be used as a model. This is one of my first realistic human Zbrush models created with precision and care. I intentionally designed this sculpture to be printed without support, allowing it to be hollow and accommodating for a light source, just like the concept that sparked my inspiration: Lucy in the Sky from Runaways, an extraterrestrial being with long hair radiating vibrant, rainbow-colored lights. The transparent print was produced using light blue PLA plastic, with only three walls required to achieve a clear result. The model itself lacks any holes, but users have the option to add one manually or through a CNC machine. I wanted to leave this decision up to the user, as I do not provide a specific light source with this model and instead allow individuals to choose their preferred type of illumination.
