My first shared thing in a while ^-^'</p><p>This is a grommet that holds the rod, that holds up your hood on the 1998-2002 4 cylinder Honda Accords (6th generation). (And other models/years of Hondas)</p><p>When I bought this car used, the plastic grommet that came with it from the factory was already broken. I finally got tired of having to mess with the rod to make sure it wouldn't slip out of the hole, that I decided to just make a new grommet out of flexible filament.</p><p>A replacement grommet would've been about 8 bucks, and a few days <a href="https://www.amazon.com/s?k=90601-S84-A01&amp;crid=VDXIQBQA1268&amp;sprefix=90601-s84-a01%2Caps%2C80&amp;ref=nb_sb_noss_1">Amazon</a> shipping.. Or a 10-minute design, then 20 minute print.</p><p>Bring a flat-head screw driver to help push the grommet into the hole on the car's frame. Depending on the hardness of the filament you use, you might be able to push it in with just your thumb.&nbsp;</p><h3>Print Settings</h3><p><strong>Rafts:</strong></p><p>Doesn't Matter</p><p><strong>Supports:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>I'd say 10%. But being a small part, it might print just fine without any!</p><p><strong>Resolution:</strong></p><p>I printed at .2mm</p><p><strong>Infill:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>I printed at 50%</p><p><strong>Filament:</strong> LeoPlas TPU / TPE&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Notes:</strong></p><p>Make sure to print in a flexible material. The grommet has to flex itself into the hole on the car's frame/body.</p>
