A Republic era medium-class battlearmor, The Valkyrie was a committee project between Firefly Foundries, Foxx Infantry Systems, and Clan Sea Fox. Its stock in trade is air and space mobility thanks to its partial-wing enhanced jump jets. The Valkyrie is also optimized for microgravity and vaccuum as a boarding suit thanks to its advanced armored seals and reaction control system thrusters festooned across the armor. Despite the advanced systems integrated, the Valkyrie is very tough thanks in part to its maximum armor allowance. Much of this armor is not only articulated, but integrated into the suit's flight management system. This allows the aerodynamic armored blisters to configure themselves to allow for both ease of movement, optimum armor coverage, and the best direction of airflow around the unit. The payment for this advanced capability is steep; the Valkyrie carries only a single anti-personnel hardpoint. For high speed reaction and boarding operations, this can be more than enough.
