The Nut Embiggenator is not directly connected to this topic, but I have some upgrades to share. Using 6mm rods with a 1mm pitch (instead of the usual 5/16 or 8mm) can enhance performance, as it eliminates rounding errors and reduces banding in prints. To counteract shrinkage, print at 103%, using 2 perimeters, .25mm layers, and 40% fill. However, Slic3r will likely make it solid regardless of these settings.
