A monoband very easy to build Hexbeam antenna for 6m. Print one base and 6 wire holders. Wrap 3-4 rounds of rg-58 coax around the circular neck as an ugly balun-choke. You can put cable ties through small holes to keep your balun in place. Put the coax through the the hole to the top. Use 2 self tapping screws to connect both coax ends and radiator wire ends. (use ring terminals on wires and coax ends). Put some CA or glue of your choice on 16mm pvc electrical conduits and push them in holes to the very end without sticking out on the inner side. How to prepare wire sets is described here: http://www.hex-beam.com/wire-sets/ Length of wires and spacer cords are here: http://www.hex-beam.com/specs/ Length of the arms can be seen below: http://www.hex-beam.com/spreader-arms/ Depending on how precise you prepared the wires and spacer cords, location of your wire holders may vary between 83-88 cm from center of base plate to have a little bit of tension on wires to keep them straight and in place. Start with 90cm-1m of pvc conduits on each 6 holes. Before applying CA to wire holders please build the antenna on a table to make sure it is geometrically ok and then use glue to keep wire holders in place. After that you can cut down the excess pvc conduits. I used 1.5MM2 ~16awg wires on it. It is so lightwieght so can be mounted on an sturdy glass-fiber telescopic fishing pole. You can use cable ties on top and bottom to keep it on the fishing pole mast. If the center hole is too big or small for your mast feel free to edit the STL file on tinkercad etc to change the center hole diameter.
