6DOF Joystick

Get your hands on the Rotary Stewart Platform design by visiting github.com/MarginallyClever/RotaryStewartPlatform/. To build this 6DOF joystick, you'll need a parts kit available at bit.ly/ZO0Dec or laser cut the design. Assemble two frames, one end effector 1, and three end effector 2. For the build, get three TAMIYA 70171 kits; cut the M3 rods in half. Remove servo PCBs and wire the potentiometer directly to the cable. Following the pictures provided, assemble the platform, using extra end effector plates and M3 rods for securing servos. Upload firmware and enjoy controlling your Rotary Stewart Platform by driving another one. Don't forget to share your creations with us! A word of caution: forward kinematics are beyond the author's math skills, so help is needed to improve the robot's kinematics for optimal performance.
