6A 5V PSU Button case for LED Strip (6 AMPS)
thingiverse
I used a 6A 5V PSU (which was complete overkill) along with an ESP8266 and the excellent WLED software to setup an LED strip for my son. I wanted a strong and secure case that left air go through the case and was as small as possible. This is it!I'd advise using a cable tie as strain relief for the mains cable going in for safety. Also its' best to keep the cable going to the LED strip as short as possible - especially for long runs to reduce voltage/current drop. It's a tight-squeeze - but that's because I wanted it to be as compact as it could be.It's using a nice metal 12mm momentary metal push-button from Aliexpress.Obviously rotate the things in your slicer so the flat top is down before printing! Please see my make for loads of photos. If you're interested in the LED strip diffuser, it's here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6315906/
