I had some leftover bearings from printing a copy of thing:2194520 and figured why not make them into a small spinner? So I made my first design in Fusion 360 and this is the end result - I'm very pleased. Caps fit perfectly, might need to tap the bearings in to fully seat, but they should be flush on both top and bottom. The caps fit great by hand and don't rub. There are two sizes: the smaller one is 12mm to let you see the bearings underneath just a bit, and the larger one is 15mm, the same size as the bearing itself, giving a nice clean look, and as small as these are, a little more room to grab. I had to make a few versions with different numbers and designs, and we all wanted to see how many would fit, so of course I had to release the 7-lobed version as well! Hope you enjoy it! Edit 05/08/17 - Thicker versions of the caps have been added for those having loose fits. Printer: Anet A2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1 or 0.2 Infill: 50-70% Notes: I've printed in both 0.2 and 0.1 just for testing, and both came out just fine - the fillet is a bit more noticeable on 0.1 obviously, but both have soft, not sharp, edges off the platter so that's really all I wanted. I printed this in black PETG by eSUN. Two walls, 0.4 nozzle, 50mm/s print speed, 25mm/s outside perimeters, 70% "lines" infill sliced in Cura 2.04 (still having first/second layer issues in 2.05) and they come out great! Fast too - at 0.2 they take less than half an hour, and less than an hour at 0.1. Sweet!
