69 Daytona Charger Nose and Wing for Kyosho Fazer MK2
cults3d
Hi guys, This is a mod for the Kyosho Fazer MK2 Dodge Charger body shell to make it into a 69 Daytona Charger. There are more pictures in my Kyosho Fazer MK2 review: https://wrenchtodrive.blogspot.com/2020/04/kyosho-fazer-mk2-charger-review.html The V3 nose is shown in the picture. V3 is not accurate because I made it to fit the body shell, not to be 100% accurate. The problem is that the front fender lines are a little off if you want to match the bottom of the nose perfectly. The V4 nose is much closer to the real nose but I'm not sure how it will look when printed (see below). I have not printed the V4 nose because plastic has become very scarce where I live. The bottom lip should fit the Kyosho body shell, but without a test I can't be 100% sure. If somebody prints it, let me know how the fit works out. The wing mount is a little fugly but you can sand it if it bugs you. I might do some mods next winter, but that's the future, so no promises. I think it looks alright as is when it's installed. You'll need to print to pins to mount the nose. Glue them into the nose and then screw the assembly on just like the stock nose piece. I made the pins separate to make printing easier. Both parts use stock holes in the body shell. Use at your own risk. Wrench to drive or drive to wrench?
