Let me ask that if you find these designs helpful, please do like, follow and share my content. If you have any ideas or concepts to modify the content, I'd love to hear from you! I recently experimented with a new omni-directional wheel design and thought I'd share it with everyone. This is a 67mm diameter wheel featuring a bolt-secured 4mm axle that can be scaled to achieve different sizes. The hub uses 3mm x 10mm socket head capscrews. The goal of this design was to simplify the manufacture and assembly of multi-part hub omni-wheels. The rollers are held in place by a 3mm shaft, which can be either smooth or threaded rod. All rollers are assembled during the hub assembly process, with the final roller positioned after hub assembly to allow for access to the hub retainment bolt. A hold-through feature on the side of the roller mount enables installation post-hub assembly. Have fun experimenting with this design and please share any information if you decide to use them. Cheers, James
