65mm Tiny Whoop Nano Frame
thingiverse
** I created these Whoop frames specifically for the Tiny Whoop Nano FC, using their unique features in mind. ** **UPDATE:** Made several changes to improve performance and design. I'm pleased with the final result. I designed the 65mm frame as a response to excessive washout issues with the 55mm version. The camera holder is angled at 20º for reduced breakage, and thicker than before for added durability. The motor holder was re-designed after experiencing frequent breakages. A hole has been added for rubber or silicone grommets to provide shock absorption. Two variants are available: one for 6x15 brushed motors and another for 6x17. The battery holder and motor holders are attached using M1.2x4mm micro size self-tapping screws. My racing canopy, which clips in and swivels over the camera, snap fits to the frame. However, it's designed to work seamlessly with the stock Tiny Whoop Nano Canopy: https://www.team-blacksheep.com/products/prod:twnano_canopy_black To assemble: 1. Feed the cam and receiver through the bottom of the frame and snap in the FC. 2. Snap the receiver onto the top of the FC in the provided cut-out. 3. Insert the camera into the cam mount. 4. Place the motors into the motor mounts and screw them to the frame. 5. Attach the battery holder to the bottom of the frame. 6. Enjoy your new Whoop! I must give credit to the creator of the Nano Whoop Style Canopy, as I discovered it online and modified its mesh in Fusion 360. Note: The 65mm frame performs well with default FC firmware settings. **UPDATE:** The 55mm frame evolved into a standalone design, which can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4303729 **UPDATE:** I've added a new 7 x 16 frame and motor holders to the collection.
