This is a fixture to help respooling 120 film onto a 620 spool for old Kodak cameras (e.g. Medalist). First you have to bond parts no. 1 to 3 (I use cyanoacrylate glue e.g. krazy glue), and make a spool driver. I used a #6-32 threaded rod and brazed a little tab at one end. Then I it was assembled on the fixture and locked onto the handle (part no. 4) using two #6-32 nuts. It was used once so far, with success. There is lots on info online about respooling 120 film onto 620. Here is a short summary. 1) run a 120 roll into a camera or back into the "exposed" orientation; 2) place it, plus an empty 620 spool on to the jig and thread the leader into the 620 spool; 3) in the dark, start turning the handle and feel for the loose film, then tuck it in the roll; make sure to keep the paper and film tight using index and thumb; 4) turn the roll until you feel the taped end, there will be a slight bulge; 5) undo the tape and keep turning until it's done.
