60mm Rotary Cutter Sharpener

60mm Rotary Cutter Sharpener

thingiverse

This is a custom-made rotary cutter sharpener designed specifically for 60mm blades, so please exercise extreme caution when handling it. To assemble this device, you'll need to add a center screw and apply sanding paper that's been carefully cut and glued into place (preferably using 2000 grit). A 4mm hole has already been drilled into the sharpener to accommodate a 6mm stud, which can be tapped in for added stability. For extra security, you might consider adding a washer and self-tapping screw on one side. As it stands now, this is still a work in progress, but I'm happy to share my design with others who may find it useful. The device features single and double-faced ring files for your convenience, allowing you to choose the perfect grit for your needs. While I only require the single file for fine touch-ups, I opted to include the double-sided version as well, so you can work with two different grits if desired.
