60mm flying base for M4 screw
thingiverse
My take on a flying base using a M4 screw instead of the normal flying stick. Just glue a nut onto the model you want and make sure your base is also supported by a nut. Far more stable than a normal base. There's also three 10mmx2mm pockets for magnets if you want to move your stuff around at events, though I don't think I'd recommend doing that for storage in a car. I used a 20mm screw, but you can change that depending if you want to have your stuff higher or lower.
