This is an accessory designed specifically for 3DUPfitters' carbon air filter used in 3D printer enclosures. Often, the back of the enclosure comes too close to the wall, making it challenging to install the air filter. This design moves the air filter to the side, providing a more practical solution. Tyler's 3D Hub did an excellent job creating an accessory for the 80mm air filter, but smaller enclosures now use a 60mm air filter, which necessitates a different design approach. This accessory is built from scratch, catering to the specific needs of these smaller enclosures. To secure the fan side, four M4 30mm screws are required. The filter side demands two #6 wood screws (each measuring 3/5") on one side and two M4 30mm screws on the other side. It is essential to note that the two holes on the filter side might require drilling holes in the enclosure for added support, but this step is entirely optional.
