The Concept: Not Satisfied with Original Spool Holder Design ============================================= Unsatisfied with the original spool holder design for a LACK enclosure build due to excessive friction, I decided to improve it by incorporating 608 bearings. Original Design Inspiration ------------------------- I drew inspiration from the Adjustable Spool Holder for Original Prusa i3 MK3 ENCLOSURE on Thingiverse, available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2867521. My Improved Design ------------------ After completing my design, I discovered a nearly identical version by emersonwu, making it a natural choice to call it a remix. What You Need to Get Started ----------------------------- To bring this design to life, you'll need 608 type bearings. I used ones with ceramic spacers from AliExpress, which can be found by searching for item number `32823820504`. Printing Instructions --------------------- The rod and cap feature a press-fit connection with a slightly tapered design. When printing at a layer height of 0.1mm, no additional supports should be required. Design Specifications ---------------------- Like emersonwu's design, the diameter is set to 22.1mm for a snug fit. The rods also share this same specification. Let Me Know Your Thoughts! --------------------------- If you like the design, please let me know! I appreciate your feedback. Thanks Again! -------------- Cheers!
