I designed a specialized tool that expertly pushes 608 bearings into their housing, ensuring they are securely seated without any damage. To avoid damaging the bearings, it's crucial to refrain from pushing hard on the inner ring or slipping and causing harm to the shields. Instead, use this tool to carefully push them home or gently tap them with a mallet to secure them in place.
