To adapt a 1" hole in wood for a 608 bearing, which isn't a typical Forstner drill size, create a plate with tabs that lock it in place. This is essential if you slot the wood for adjusting purposes. Print the plate with at least 50% infill, placing it side down. The OD of the plate is slightly smaller than 1" to allow for a slip fit. For installation, heat the PLA and press the bearing onto a flat surface using its ID that fits snugly. Drill a hole about .300" wide for clearance.
