608 bearing holder
thingiverse
The 608 bearing is firmly in place thanks to this essential component. The hole in the plate is noticeably smaller than the outer circumference of the bearing itself, which means the holder isn't intended to completely encase the bearing. Instead, there's a deliberate gap left so you can get a good grip on it, essentially giving you some room to carefully pinch it into position. This particular design isn't meant for situations where axial force is being applied directly to the bearing against this specific holder - I actually used a thrust bearing in that case, and I might post about it later if you're interested!
