Experience this initial creation! Please pardon if it's not excellent. Notably, after utilizing this for a day or so, I discovered that the post where the 608 resides could be slightly slimmer (maybe .25 or .50 mm) and the top snap could be longer by approximately 1-1.5mm. Nevertheless, it's not bad for a first attempt! In the upcoming day or two, I plan to update this with these adjustments. At the end of my desk, I maintain my filament spools on a roll made from 1/4" PVC pipe. My 3D printer is situated at the opposite end of my desk. I have mounted several of these on the wall to guide the filament along the wall from the spool to the printer. The screw hole accommodates a 3mm diameter screw. You could undoubtedly utilize it to secure the filament guide to other objects. Before securing to the wall (or any other surface), snap the top in place. You may need to modify the hole size... it's designed for a friction fit, with an inner diameter of precisely 8mm, as per my caliper measurements.
