600x400 VESA Mount Extension
thingiverse
I needed to attach a Raspberry Pi behind a TV using a 600x400mm mount. A suitable design can be found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:922740, offering 75x75 and 100x100 mount holes, but I required something larger. To accommodate my needs, I split the arm in two to fit on my A8. This modification also allows for some minor adjustment for a better fit. One end features a spacer to pass an M8 bolt through, as the recessed mount holes on my TV needed this extra clearance. If you need a larger or smaller hole or don't require the spacer, the OpenSCAD source is included. Secure the two halves of each arm together with M3x6 screws and nuts. The inside ends should take an M4 screw. My holes were slightly oversized, so I ended up using M4x10 screws and nuts; the files here have a smaller hole for which an M4x8 screw and no nut might work. If it's still too large or too small, let me know, as I haven't tested the smaller size yet.
