60% Keyboard Case
thingiverse
A custom keyboard case that perfectly fits the Pok3r layout, with a sleek design that matches other keyboards in its class. I've paired it with a GH60 Satan PCB, which provides a solid foundation for my typing experience. To accommodate a 200mm*200mm printer, the case is cleverly designed to consist of two detachable pieces. To bring this project to life, I printed the case at an enlarged scale of 101%, which requires some precision and attention to detail. One of the challenges I faced was ensuring that the connectors were properly aligned. After experimenting with different scaling options, I discovered that each axis needs to be scaled uniquely to achieve perfect alignment. The screw holes in the model have a diameter of 2.10mm, and I successfully used screws salvaged from my Nintendo Switch dock to secure the case together. For added durability, I opted for ZYLtech Black Carbon Fiber filament with a hardened nozzle, which can be sourced online through reputable suppliers like Zyltech's website.
