The human body is made up of several systems that work together to keep it running properly. The muscular system helps to move the body's skeleton and provides support to internal organs. The circulatory system, also known as the cardiovascular system, is responsible for transporting oxygen and nutrients throughout the body. It consists of the heart, arteries, veins, and blood vessels that supply oxygen-rich blood to tissues and remove waste products. The respiratory system brings in oxygen from the air we breathe and expels carbon dioxide through exhalation. The lungs are responsible for gas exchange, where oxygen is absorbed into the bloodstream and carbon dioxide is removed. The digestive system breaks down food into nutrients that can be absorbed by the body. It consists of the mouth, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and large intestine, which work together to break down carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. These systems are interconnected and interdependent, working together to maintain overall health and well-being.
