60, 80, 120 mm fan cover/duct with 90 degree deflector

This general-purpose fan duct can be used with any 60mm fan that has a 50mm mounting hole spacing. The fan is designed to redirect airflow at a 90-degree angle. By request, I added an 80mm version in January of 2017. Scaling up the 60mm to 80mm would not work because the hole spacing changes by a different ratio. In August of 2017, I added 120mm and 120mm Slim versions that are only three-quarters of the height. I also corrected the hole spacing on the 80mm version in August of 2017. It is now 72mm from center to center, which was previously 68mm. I designed this fan duct specifically to improve my Anet A8 printer. When mounted with a 40mm board cover and a fan size adapter, one 60mm fan can cool both the main board and the x-axis motor. Please see the photo for more information. Let cool fully before detaching, and use minimal supports. Post-Printing Instructions: After printing the board cover, simply clip away the built-in fan guard for the original 40mm fan. I secured the cover to the board with a large cable tie after slipping the mounting posts over the exposed screw threads. You may need to reverse the screws so that the heads face inward. Mount the fan either blowing away from or toward the board. I think it's better when blowing towards the board, as the air stream is more diffused. Verify there is enough clearance for the x motor to move along the z axis. Use a large cable tie to secure the entire assembly.
