The theme is that a group of pioneers is setting up a colony on an exoplanet - you can read the full storyline below. Space colonisation is now dominated by huge corporations that settle and mine new planets for profit. Recon drones are first sent to target exoplanets and do an initial scan of biodiversity, atmosphere and resources. Then the most profitable targets are picked for a Pioneer team to visit. The Space Pioneers collection focuses on the pioneer team Everest, who work for the largest corporation on Earth - Mountain Stronghold Corp. The target, Planet 579a which has been named 'Aether', has an ideal atmosphere, high levels of biodiversity and gravity slighty higher than Earth. Due to this our Pioneers wear exoskeletons while living on the planet long term. The mission is for the resources on the planet to be further analysed by our scientist and geologist, and a working camp should be established. They will be taking the flagship Orbital Lander, known as the Helikon, which can trasnverse from the starship in orbit to the planet's surface below, ferrying supplies and team members back and forth. It's even large enough to carry a Hab Unit fully intact, making colonisation faster and safer than ever before.   Although not as safe as our pioneers would like. Alongside this core team, a Special Forces Military Unit has been sent for protection. Aether is an ideal planet, but it's also home to some dangerous alien life. While the Everest team is busy in camp, Captain Torres and his unit must protect them from an alien known as the Neuromantis. It has the ability to use soundwaves to disorientate its prey and confuse their minds, leaving them diorientated. Luckily, Torres is a fearless captain and the Agents are highly trained for alien combat. However, they've never faced a creature as intelligent as this before and migh finally have met their match. What will happen to the Everest team? Will they be successful in setting up a colony on Aether, or will the Neuromantis be keeping this exoplant for itself? Print the models and you can decide!
