6' x 6' Robot Combat Arena
thingiverse
This is the CAD for my 6'x6' combat robot arena. The arena is constructed using sturdy 2"x2" tubing (11ga) and durable 7/16" Lexan panels. All hardware is robust 1/4" in size, and not visible - if you spot holes, use bolts to secure through lexan. Additionally, weldable hinges and door closures are omitted, as these details exceed my current Fusion 360 skill level. The arena is mounted securely on a modified 4'x8' trailer. Initially, the plan was to make it "collapsible" by having the four upright 2"x2" tubes nest into the top/bottom using 1-3/4" tubes (interference fit with pin to secure). However, we now have multiple venues with roll-up doors where we can pull a trailer in and go, which is significantly easier than tearing down and setting up.
