6 x 4 Airbrush Paint Rack

This is a quick-to-make laser cut airbrush paint bottle holder with 36mm holes and a 100mm or 50mm bottle depth. My settings for a 50W (peak) CO2 laser are: * Black Lines: 80% power @ 4mm/sec (RDWorks cut mode) * Red Lines: 30% power @ 100mm/sec (RDWorks cut mode) The pictured box is made from 1/8" Baltic plywood on the front and sides. The back is 1/8" hardboard to save money. The Baltic birch was covered in masking tape before laser cutting. The text and graphics are cut as outlines in the tape. I airbrushed the tape with silver pearlized acrylic and let it dry a bit. Then, I removed the tape surrounding the design and left the painted tape in place. Eventually, this will be sealed or coated in mod podge but I needed to get back to painting so I left it natural for now. The entire box leans at an angle to give clearance off the countertop. Heavy bottles can cause it to tip forward, but you can glue a couple of chunks of metal on the legs of the stand to offset the bottle weight. A compromise was made to get the look I wanted. The red outline in the Illustrator AI file is the 300mm x 500mm bed of my laser. An AIT template has also been attached that I use for laser designs, which may be useful to someone. RDWorks 8 tips: Stroke Colors in Illustrator are interpreted as separate toolpaths for laser configuration. Stick to a simple color palette in your stroke colors and "Save A Copy" as an Illustrator CS format (not newer or older versions but the one called exactly "CS"). You can import .ai CS files directly into RDWorks 8. Airbrush icon source file: https://www.onlinewebfonts.com/icon/467669
