6 to 1 ratio rubber band pulley system for 1/4" shaft
thingiverse
This is a highly efficient rubber band pulley system with a 6 to 1 ratio. The large pulley boasts a diameter of 3 inches and the smaller one measures 1/2 inch in diameter. Both pulleys stand at an impressive height of 1.45 inches. They are precision-designed for use with 1/4 inch shafts. To attach them securely, simply sand the shaft lightly and apply a small amount of reliable expansion glue like Gorilla Glue. For optimal performance, utilize thick rubber bands readily available at most large retailers. These pulleys can be used in any project that requires light-duty power transfer, making them ideal for robotics, capacitor discharge systems, Van De Graaf generators, and more. I highly recommend using an infill of at least 30%, although I have successfully used as low as 20%. To ensure durability, I use walls with a thickness of .8mm and top and bottom layers measuring 1mm. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQ9CvVzqvlU Disclaimer: High-speed spinning parts can cause catastrophic failure, resulting in damage to property, injury, or death.
