These bases are compatible with the Brave Sun Starship Miniatures combat system, and are all Presupported for Resin Printing. As such, these ships have two Brave Sun Bases included - one without a firing arc, and one with. These ships were designed as part of the 3rd Brave Sun Starship Kickstarter campaign which launched in June of 2022. The best way to start playing Brave Sun would be to get the Brave Sun starter pack here on MyMiniFactory which includes tokens, instructions, 28 ships, their custom/unique bases with stats, terrain, the twist lock rod system (with more unique rods and sizes), and more. Brave Sun ships are designed for the Twist Lock Rod system, meaning they are Twist Lock Rod Compatible. The Twist Lock Rod system allows you to keep your rods, bases, and ships separate but easy-to-assemble without the need for magnets or glue. They are also compatible with regular 3mm rods, except for the largest ship, the dreadnought, which has a 5mm rod hole. (5mm Twist Lock rod is also included.) These ships are great for A Billion Suns, Full Thrust, Firestorm Armada, as well as other games, but they go best with the Brave Sun Starship Combat System for which they were designed. These Brave Sun ships vary from small fighters that are about 25mm in length to corvettes, frigates, support ships, destroyers, all the way up to the Decimator Dreadnought over over 100mm in length. (In the file names you'll notice only Fighters, Frigates, Cruisers, and Dreadnoughts because those are the only formal ship categories in the Brave Sun combat system in order to keep the game relatively simple. For example some ships that might be recognized as a destroyer are fitted into one of the other categories.) We recommend printing these ships at about a 45° to 55° degree angle, with the front end of the ship facing upward, and the bottom of the ship facing the build plate for the best quality. Some parts of these ships (some of the guns) are relatively thin, so remove supports with care.
