This is everything you need to turn a 44 quart ziplock weather shield storage bin into a dry box that will hold 6 standard rolls, each measuring 70mmx200mm wide. The design accommodates the 6th roll by using an unconventional approach. I also designed it to fit smaller diameter rolls. If the roller seems too complicated, you can opt for a simpler center rod type filament holder available here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3394452. However, this design is less convenient when changing rolls, which prompted me to create this one. **Rod holders X2** These custom-designed rod holders are tailored specifically for the mentioned box. They use 8mmx450mm rods of any type that can support the rolls. The 450mm length will match the full width of the box. The holders should be flush with the walls and have their shape embossed on them. A tiny dab of superglue or some rubber cement between the rods and holders once assembled is recommended, but be cautious not to overdo it. **Idlers X24** The orientation of the idlers is crucial; they must face the outside of the box/other idlers so there's minimal spacing between rolls. One idler should go on the outside of each rod holder. Standard 608 bearings are used, which are 22mm in diameter and press in. Ensure the bearing is flush with the flat-lipped side of the idler. **PTFE pass through X6** The 2x4 PTFE tubing might be challenging to push through the holder, so try spinning it while inserting it. You can add a 10mm x1.5+ O ring on the head for a tighter seal if desired (not necessary). **There are multiples (+- .1mm) of parts with holes for fitment in the zip, the middle size is what worked best for me.** **Hole template X1:** This aligns with the two vertical walls under the handle. A 0.6 thick one should suffice, but if you prefer a thicker one, there's a 2mm option available in the zip. Align and mark one side, then flip it and repeat. These holes were determined for optimal placement for a roll 68mm wide. BOM: 44 quart ziplock weather shield dry box (available online at $40 for four) 2 x 8x450mm linear rods or other (carbon fiber tube might work but has not been tested) 24 x 608 bearings ~0.5kg filament Some length of 2x4 PTFE Optional: 8 x 8x3 magnets 6 x 10mm x1.5+ O rings
