6" Rack, TP-Link TL-SG105
thingiverse
I'm really impressed with KronBjorn's design for the 6" Rack, and I've got four Raspberry Pi's humming along inside mine. The next step was to find a way to network them all together seamlessly. My go-to switch for this task is the TP-Link TL-SG105 - it's a reliable choice that gets the job done. Now, I just needed a sturdy mounting system to keep it secure and out of the way. To achieve this, I drew inspiration from KronBjorn's remix of the Raspberry Pi 3 case. By locking the switch in place when the case is screwed together, I've got a solid foundation for my network setup. One thing worth noting is that the RJ45 ports are located at the back of the rack, so you won't see any cables cluttering up the front of the unit. This sleek design makes it easy to manage and maintain my network infrastructure. The case itself stands 3U tall, providing ample room for all my networking gear without taking up too much precious space in my server room or home office.
