6" Overshot Waterwheel

6" Overshot Waterwheel

This is a waterwheel with an overshot design, measuring 6 inches in diameter. It prints as two separate parts that need to be assembled using glue. For printers with limited capabilities, I've also included a one-piece model option. The attached Fusion 360 file is fully parameterized, allowing users to adjust various settings such as divider count, angle, bore size, wall thickness, and more with minimal effort. This design was created in response to a Quora question about building a 6-inch diameter waterwheel. The original question can be found here: https://www.quora.com/I-dont-have-a-3-D-printer-yet-Is-there-anyone-who-would-make-me-6-inch-diameter-x-1-inch-wide-waterwheel-It-has-to-be-an-overshot-designed-wheel-with-3-16-shaft-bore/answer/Elizabeth-Greene-1 Please note that I'm not an expert on water wheels, so this design may not be optimized for performance. If you have any knowledge or resources to share about the topic, I'd love to learn from them and improve my understanding.
