6 mm irrigation hose slide clamp
thingiverse
I've got some horizontal spray 'risers' to water a narrow strip of garden along my fence line. The sun's variable heat causes the main feeder hose to expand and contract, lifting it off the fence railing and making the horizontal sprays tilt every which way. My solution was to secure the horizontal sprays while still letting them move along the fence line. This 'clamp' gets the job done. Printed at .3mm layers works just fine. I printed the parts on edge so there's no bridging, and maximum bed adhesion is achieved without needing any brim. BREAKING NEWS! I've just discovered that not all hose risers are created equal. I've got some that are closer to 8 mm in diameter. So, I've re-scaled for a second version to accommodate these larger tubes.
