If like me you're embedding magnets into your projects, you know that it can be frustrating to find the right hole size. Too large and the magnets jump out and stick to the metal in the extruder, and too small and they don't fit in! You need a magnet with a bit of friction, but not too much! After getting sick of monkeying around with different hole sizes, I whipped up these three tester keychains for the 3 magnet sizes I typically use (6 mm, 8 mm, and 10 mm). Now when I try out a new magnet vendor, I can quickly see how large the holes should be to provide a nice snuggly friction fit. Happy magneting!
