6 inch tile with dovetail joints

I wanted something special to complement my shelf brackets, which I had designed.\r\nhttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2743913\r\n\r\nSince my printer isn't 24" long, I needed a solution that I could print in stages and assemble as I went along - something modular...\r\n\r\nI came up with this unique design. The square tiles are simple, yet they feature dovetail joints that allow you to slide them together for secure holding.\r\n\r\nTo make these large tiles stick well to the build plate, excellent printer adhesion is crucial due to their size and extensive surface area.\r\n\r\nThe dovetail inserts I designed are precision-fit. Once inserted, they may require pliers to remove, and keep in mind that different materials from various brands can shrink at slightly varying rates, affecting fitment. You might need to adjust the scale of the dovetails to get a snug fit.\r\n\r\nTo offer maximum flexibility, I created multiple tile versions for this modular system.\r\n\r\nNote: These are designed for displaying small 3D printed items and aren't intended for holding heavy objects like books. They're meant for showcasing your prints.\r\n\r\nAlso note that I'm continually working on improving this design - a rail will be added to the front for enhanced stability, and possibly even a truss bottom for the dovetails. However, my spare time is limited, so updates are coming at a slower pace...
