6-Inch Seed Planting Spacer
thingiverse
The biointensive gardening technique involves planting vegetables using a hexagonal or triangular pattern rather than straight rows. I created a planter for seed placement adhering to the 6-inch spacing of this method. This spring, I utilized it for soybean planting. To use the planter, position it on your garden bed, insert one seed in each hole and shift it so that the two leftmost holes align with the two rightmost seeds placed previously. Add two new seeds to the rightmost holes and repeat as needed. This versatile spacer can be adjusted for different spacings such as 2", 3" or 4".
