Prior to applying a finish, giving the slopes on the clip some TLC through sanding or acetone smoothing will noticeably enhance the knife's ease of entry and exit into the sheath. Hold the assembled sheath firmly in place for an exact test fit before setting the adhesive into motion. For prints produced in ABS, bonding this versatile sheath together requires nothing more than a judicious application of acetone, while a similar operation can be accomplished using Superglue with a print manufactured from PLA.
