6-Inch Cable Hanger

I designed a compact 6-inch cable hanger to fit snugly inside the metal braces of popular plastic shelving units from Rubbermaid, Plano and Sterilite found at most big-box stores across the USA. One of these shelves now serves as an electronics charging station, helping me keep my office organized. With three drones, three DSLR cameras, five GoPros, two Canon Vixia Camcorders, five USB battery packs, LED panel batteries and other essentials, I required a dedicated space to store batteries neatly and provide a flat surface for chargers and cables. This cable hanger was the perfect solution to prevent a tangled mess of cables on the shelf. To secure this under the top shelf, I used zip-ties, drilling matching holes in the molded ribbing to ensure a seamless fit.
