6 Hole Punch Spacer Jig
thingiverse
This jig drills holes in sheets of material spaced according to standard American three-hole punch specifications. It features six evenly spaced holes, with each set consisting of two holes, separated by just one inch. I designed this part specifically for drilling through transparency film used on COVID-19 face shields like Joseph Prusha's or Matter-hackers' designs that require a six-hole punch; however, it can also be adapted for three-hole punching by simply using every other hole. Due to my printer's limited size, I had to break the part into two sections that snap together like a puzzle. Update 4/7/2020: I've included the full one-piece design for anyone who might need it. Initially, I encountered some issues getting the two halves to fit together properly. To resolve this problem, I used a vice and file to make them fit.
