I have three young ladies in my house who all possess thick long hair, and before the Tubshroom https://www.tubshroom.com revolutionized plumbing, I was plagued by monthly hair clogs. After the second time in a year of renting an industrial snake, I began searching for solutions to this persistent problem. The tubshroom solved the issue in my upstairs shower/tub, but as my girls grew older, they started using my basement shower, which drains into a 6.75 basement drain. Unfortunately, Tubshrooms won't fit down this particular drain, so I created a solution of my own. Initially, it was just a single drain, but the girls quickly overwhelmed that capacity, leading me to devise the "double barrel" drain, which has been working flawlessly ever since.
