Also known as the Vittorio Veneto class, the Littorio class of battleships served with Italy’s Regia Marina during WW2. 4 ships of the class were laid down but only 3 were completed. The only ship of the 3 lost was the Roma who was sunk by German Glide bombs after Italy surrendered to the Allies. Littorio and Vittorio Veneto both participated in actions in the Mediterranean during the war, predominately attempting to intercept convoys. This model is designed in the 1/1800 scale but can be printed in 1/2400 scale without appreciable loss of detail. The model comes as two STL files, one for the ships Hull and the other for the turrets, cranes etc.
